A wonderful effort from Paul Heatley would prove to be the difference as the Bannsiders went out of the Irish Cup at the first hurdle.

Kearney remarked that there wasn’t a lot in the game up until Heatley’s 85th minute winner and that both teams cancelled each other out.

The boss acknowledged how superb they have been defensively but that they need to find a happy medium of also putting the ball into the back of the net.

The result means Coleraine can now solely focus on the final five league games of the season and Kearney knows the destiny is in their hands.
